[Pokemon -- Flash Version]

Really solid game

This is really good, and I bet you did learn a ton. It's not completely polished, but it's pretty good for a solo project. I do wish that the pokemon leveled up a bit faster, just because it's kind of a small world and there's not much else to do; but it's definitely has enough gameplay value to keep you busy for a while.

It also brought back fond memories of pokemon on gameboy, and it's a nice substitute for a quick pokemon fix without getting into a huge game that will take you days if not weeks.

The only thing I might do is have the pokemon heal automatically after each battle. This is because it's free to heal anyways by putting them in the machine or walking to the guy or re-using potions in small battles; so it would be nice to just have it automatically. I guess it's the same in regular pokemon too with having to walk to get healing, so it's not that big of a deal.

Thank you for commenting. I never really thought about those things. I will keep that in mind for the next time I work on an RPG game. I'm thinking more along the lines of having PokeCenters in convenient areas, along with the ability to use potions outside of battle. Thank you, again, for playing and reviewing!

[Island Survival]

pretty good, but some frustrating features

the gameplay is simple yet entertaining enough and the game is just about the right length. The main problem is as people have said, the randomness can make some levels impossible. Especially on the last level when you get stuck or just have too many snowflakes on the left side early on, it's really frustrating to lose. It did take me a bunch of tries to finally beat it, which brings us to the second problem.

I worked hard for that party and those flowers, why can't I have them again later? I really wished the game saved your progress. Otherwise it's a pretty solid game.

this was awesome!

I spent waaaaaaaaay too much time on it today though. But it was great, can't really think of any big improvements needed. All in all it was great!

fun game

this was a good game, perfect length and it was fun. one thing is you can press tab to see where you can click.

it's a nice little time waster and pretty fun. I wish there was a little more you could do with it, but I guess it's enough.

Also to upgrade faster upgrade only the stars, and especially don't upgrade the length until the end.

i love fresh takes on old games, and this was great. I can't believe I haven't seen something like this before. It's great!!!

this game was pretty fucking awesome

i was all running on the roof and collecting rings and shit like I was sonic the hedgehog but then I was also all like throwing fucking fireballs at ninjas and robots and helicopters and just burning those mother fuckers down. it was pretty awesome, because it's friday but this game made it feel like it was tuesday again.

Great Game!

This game was really fun, I enjoyed the strategy and how the random outcomes and good/bad things really made the game interesting and challenging (albeit also somewhat frustrating)

The only thing is that I never faced a raid with more than 10 bombers, so I couldn't get the 20 bombers medal; but everything else was fine.

Tips for people:
-max out recruiters first.
-scavangers and workers don't die, so they're nice to get early
-builders won't die if you put them on a spot where no planes attack - so use them to repair areas that aren't under attack
-don't bother too much with intelligence until you want to start defending proactively, but after that it's very important to always have 85%+ so you know where the attacks are happening
-don't send too many planes into battle. Some of your planes die even after all the enemies are shot down, so it's a recipe for disaster.

[Zombie Home Run]

perfect

Everything about this game was perfect. I loved the graphics and gameplay, and the story was great too. It was also the perfect length, and I liked that it told you how many total levels there were.

Nothing really that I can think of to improve this, maybe upgrades or powerups or something. but really nothing is needed.
